Day care is a form of hospital admission through which specialized, curative and recovery medical assistance is provided, concentrating, in a 12-hour interval, during the day, examinations, investigations, therapeutic acts performed under medical supervision.

The advantages of day care hospitalization services offered by Laurus Medical Centres are as follows:

  1. diagnosis, treatment and monitoring services are available upon appoint, for patients that do not require continuous admission and that cannot be solved in outpatient conditions;
  2. the patients is not forced to spend a lot of time in the hospital, as long-term admission is not required;
  3. active patients can benefit from the day care services in their free time, without requiring days off from work;
  4. service packages are available.
